Month 4
The Fourth Month of Capstone was the final month of the project. During this month I polished the levels by fixing the pacing in the areas that where needed. Also, I swapped the assets for Chapter 1 and 4 with the art that was made the artist and from free assets that the team found on the Unreal Store. Additionally, I made bug fixes and helped balancing certain bosses in the game.

What Went Right
What went Wrong
Asset Swapping: The asset swapping of the levels went smoothly at least on my part. I was able to find assets in the unreal engine store just because the artist weren’t going to have enough time for everything we asked them for. We found assets we the art style we were looking for but also the artist where also to deliver on their parts assets with art style we wanted it.
Artist: The artist that where assign to work with us where really good with their work and the gave us the assets in a timely manner. They showed up to the meeting on time and kept us posted all the way with progress of the assets.
Time Management: At least for me I was able to get my things done way before the due date. As for other team members, they weren’t great with their time management. This caused for a lot of crunch work on their side just so they could finish their required task by the due date, causing some of the quality to not be great.
Performance Issues: This month we had to take somethings out from the levels because they really affecting the performance of the game, dropping the frames to like 10. The things we had to take out where the frost-throwers which were part of two boss fights. Because of that the bosses had to be reworked a bit.
